Welcome to Chantecler Fanciers International

Chantecler Fanciers International was founded in the fall of 2007 to champion this breed in all of its remarkable forms: Large Fowl and Bantam sizes in White, Partridge and Buff varieties. By bringing together breeders, exhibitors, and general admirers of the Chantecler, we help to ensure this deserving breed retains a vibrant and visible place in the poultry world.

Our work centers on connection and collaboration. Anyone searching for breeding stock can access our online Breeders Directory, and each year we host a National Meet in both the United States and Canada—an opportunity to gather, exhibit, learn, and celebrate the breed. We also maintain a private Facebook community where members and licensed poultry judges can exchange knowledge, ask questions, and support one another.

As a member of CFI, you can choose to have a listing in the Breeders Directory, and you will qualify for CFI‑sponsored show awards. You’ll also receive our quarterly newsletters filled with updates, insights, and stories from across the Chantecler community. Most importantly, your membership strengthens the official breed club and its work to promote the Chantecler’s many virtues.
